Utah hammered Arizona to edge back into the conference race.

Several games in progress in Q3:

Cal 44
USC 43

Arizona St. 39
Colorado 30

Washington 34
Washington St. 19 (Huskies are winless in conference thus far)

Stanford @ UCLA 3 pm PST

Oregon St. @ Oregon 5 pm PST

Jodi Wynn, coach of UW was at a HS game in the OC yesterday. She was at Ribet at JSerra. I dont know who she was scouting.

Someone w/ size hopefully, they desperately need some.

Cal leading USC 62-59 in closing seconds. Trojans had 3 shots behind the arc this possession, none of them would go. Got a jump ball and they have the arrow, so they'll have one more chance. 4 seconds left.

4 chances to tie in the last 18 seconds, no go for USC. Up and down year for them. Started 0-3 in conference, then won 3 straight, now they dropped a pair of home games this weekend. You HAVE to defend your home turf.

Arizona St. wins 73-59, break a 3 game losing streak.

Washington FINALLY gets a conference win 56-49. Both teams shot under 35% from the floor. Yuck. Hannah Johnson did her Chantel Osahor impersonation w/ 17 rebounds!

Wild loose ball scramble, Jordin Canada got her head smacked into the court. She's been down for a couple minutes. Hate to see that. UCLA up 6-0 early.

UCLA up 22-10 after 1Q despite the absence of Canada. Billings grabbed her 1,000th career rebound.

UCLA up 31-21 at halftime. Ugly game. I've been kind of disappointed w/ most of the games today.

Oregon @ OSU on Friday night was great, maybe the rematch will be another barnburner.

Canada is back on the floor to start the 2nd half, wearing a mask. They said just a bump on her forehead, they just want to protect it from any more contact.

UCLA drills a 3 at the end of Q3 (I feel like I type that phrase a lot!), pushes their lead to 45-34.

Despite playing poorly, Stanford has closed to 54-48 w/ just under 2 minutes left.

I am watching and listening with my earpiece and the announcers are talking about Geno.

This last 2 minutes is gonna take about 15 minutes. I'm switching over to UO-OSU.

Civil War Round 2 is not off to the blistering hot start the first game was. 5-4 Beavers about 4 minutes in.

Refs are allowing hand to hand combat today. Knocking a player down apparently is not a foul. 8-5 Ducks 2:43 in Q1.

.-.
12-7 Oregon after 1Q. OSU went about 7 minutes without scoring.

22-9 Oregon, OSU has to call a TO. I think the 14 game losing streak is going to get snapped tonight.

Sabally was a no show on Friday, but she's on fire today. 30-14 Ducks. I think I'll take a brake from the game.

Oregon has apparently had enough of this losing streak in the Civil War. The Beaver fur is flying. Ducks are up 40-18 at the half.

This game is going about how i figured the first one would go. I didn’t think the Beavers could continue that hot shooting.

I quit watching fairly early on. OSU at least made it respectable in the 2nd half. 75-63 final.

Nobody played well in the first half, but Gulich and Tudor bounced back after halftime, scored 16 and 17. Also the bench got involved, scored 18 this game after 0 the last outing. Goodman paced the reserves w/11.

Hebard had a terrible game for Oregon but the rest of the starters made up for it with balanced scoring. Ionescu was more in playmaking mode than scoring mode this game.

I have no problem with Oregon being one of the Top Seeds in the first poll out this week.

What I do have a problem with is the NCAA not considering the Pacific NW for the next group of FF venues.

Oregon is back in first place by themselves. UCLA and Stanford are 1 game back. 4 teams are tied for 4th place at 2 games back--Arizona St., Cal, Oregon St. and Utah.

When was the last time that the NCAA put the Final Four west of the Rockies?

Is Bando coming back this year? Ducks looked pretty good for being short-handed...
