Other (non-UConn) games

Duke about to fall to 8-8.

BTW, how can Antonelli say with a straight face that NC State has a shot at a #1 seed? Their best win is a 4-pt victory over Michigan State.

They're undefeated and they have tough games ahead. If they win them [unlikely], they are a #1.

Georgia scores 35 -- thirty five! -- in a loss to Mizzou, 61-35.

Someone among Notre Dame, Louisville and NC State will be removed from the conversation due to head to head meetings. I'd say fairly unlikely even 2 ACC teams get #1 seeds this year.

Committed 20 turnovers and shot 30%, including 1-11 from 3.
Cunningham came up big, stuffing the stat sheet. 23 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals, 5 turnovers.

Another loss..... another Boykin injury

Looks like Duke's fine effort tonight will fall short. Miami up by 8 with 17 seconds to play.

Ohio State is finishing off an epic comeback to win at Happy Valley. Penn State led by 18 with 7:00 left, and then OSU outscored PSU 22-4 to send the game to overtime. That's one of the best 4th-quarter comebacks I've ever heard of in the women's game. And this makes 3 consecutive wins for OSU.

Wow, is tOSU actually a decent team? Maybe it took a while for 8 grad transfers to gel, or however many new players they added.

Iowa running up the score on Michigan. 52-36 with 3 ' left in Q3. Gustafson is a beautiful player. Double / Triple teamed all over the place. Beating it with nice passes or super quick post moves.

I will be watching that game on replay. She really is a joy to watch. She puts on a clinic of quick and decisive post moves.

Alabama over TN 22-18 end of Q1. :) Probably wont last but who knows

Alabama leads Tennessee, 22-18, end of 1 quarter.

I wasn't watching the Kentucky-LSU play but I see that a 60-60 tie was broken by a 3-pointer by a Kentucky player who had only made 8 of 31 threes all season.

An important win for Kentucky playing without both Howard and Murray.

And dare I say it, McGuff might actually be a decent coach?

That was literally LSU's chance to get a big RPI win, at home vs a good Kentucky program down two of their star players

Morris was crippled

And we still lost :(

Oh, that's bold. I've actually given him quite a bit of credit for getting UW heading the right direction during his brief stay in Seattle.

Minnesota is killing Wisconsin 66-37. Not all teams with 1-4 records in the Big 10 are created equal.

Worth repeating. ;)

Bama has beaten Tenn FOUR straight times. Longest current streak against LVs among SEC teams. Wonder if that's the longest ever. Cant imagine Summitt losing 4 times in a row to another SEC.

Gonzaga got off to a good start up 24-15 early in Q2 against BYU.

Auburn trying to avert disaster at Vanderbilt. They've come from way down to tie the game at 67 with 1:30 to play.

Iowa 75, MSU 61 — Final. Anybody who thinks Megan Gustafson isn’t the real deal needs to look again. She is slightly shorter than Momma Stef (6’3” versus 6’5”) and a tad less thick. But they both shoot well, rebound well, and play defense well. And they are both first-class human beings. MG is going to be OK at the next level.

Alabama holding on 36-34 at half. Aja Wilson in the SEC control room. Seems to be rooting for TN.

Gonzaga was up 10 after Q1 but BYU getting back in it Q2. 34-32 just before halftime.

Heartbreaking loss for Vandy. Auburn gets a 3-point play with 8 seconds left to take a 2-point lead. Autumn Newby got a great look at an open 12-footer and just left it short.

Auburn was Down 20 in the Third and comes back to beat Vandy 72-70. Really proud of their fight. They could’ve folded and called it a day and went on the plane back to Auburn. But they kept fighting and got the Win.

Isn't Vandy down like a good bit of players. It seems like every year Vandy has some key players that are going down. Its like they are cursed..
