Will play Michigan State or Cornell

Yegorov made a bunch of saves when the game was close or the game could have been a lot different
 
Wow Cole Hutson! I hope we won’t have to see him next year. Anyone have an opinion on the stickers on BU’s helmets? Too much emphasis on the individual me thinks. So opposite what UConn stands for…

BU has always recruited kids with temperament issues. It used to be that Jack Parker would read them the riot act and control them by being the bigger dog

Looks like UMass v Minn will start even later due to OT between Minn St. and W Mich. Was hoping to catch that one - will see if I last last the entire game.

Those guys REALLY want Shafer's career to last a bit longer!!

I do not feel quite so bad that my alma mater lost to them in Placid last Saturday.
 
UMass scores 3 times in the 3rd to take a 4-3 lead.

B1G has been outscored 10-0 in 3rd period in their 3 games so far.

UMass pulls it out OT, 5-4!

Hockey East goes 2-0 with our 3rd and 6th place teams, while the not-so-big B1G went 0-3, with their 3 best teams. OOOOOF! Penn St. the only B1G school left.

Hockey East is living up to it's billing as the best conference in cawlidge hawkey so far... 4 more on tap for tomorrow, including our own long-awaited, much-anticipated debut in the NCAA Tournament.

Let's go boys!
 
A perfect Friday would be Hockey East going 3-1 with UConn being one of the wins and Maine being the loss. That would get UConn to the Elite 8, put 5 HE teams in the Elite 8, and have us take on the 4 seed in our bracket.

I don't want Maine to lose. I want revenge in the regional final and no B1G team getting that far. But I am really apprehensive about tonight. I have seen Q play.

I do respect Rand but as a Clarkson alum with two kids who went to Q and Union, I want a measure of respect back. My kids' schools have a natty apiece and I do not. Either UConn or Clarkson would do. I am heavily invested emotionally in both.

I remember UConn and Q in the D-3 days and the early MAAC. I may even have seen Rand play for Bowdoin under the Saarinen Roof in Storrs. So I still have respect for what he has done. Time to end that era, though.
