That was an impressively smart play. He essentially just plopped himself down on the ice right at the crease and used his body as a backboard to bank the layup shot off of.

Even more impressive if that was a designed play.

1st period

Ohio State had a dominating 1st period

Shots were 15-2 in favor of the Buckeyes and led after the 1st 1-0

2nd period

BU comes out playing much better in the 2nd period. Ties the game at 1.

BU takes a roughing penalty and Ohio State scores on the pp to take a 2-1 lead

BU scores a pp goal to tie the game 2-2

30 seconds later Ohio State scores on a 2v1

12 seconds later BU ties the game at 3

3 goals in 42 seconds

Ohio State almost scores a goal before the end of the 2nd but it crosses the goal line a tenth of a second too late

During a number of games at UConn, Logan looked super solid in net and then suddenly… not. The change of scenery was probably good for him, but apparently the in game mental lapses are still there.
7 goals on 22 shots… wow.

Given Pandolfo’s toughness, I’m a bit surprised at the lack of discipline on BU to have earned a penalty and a 10 min misconduct so late in the game when up 4 goals. How “terrier” like .
