Maryland has stormed back to take a 2-point lead with 1 minute to play.
Yup, I went to NCAA.COM and saw that JMU tied it at 68, then it showed the Final.Tied up. You may yet
Never mind. MD wins 70-68
Hittner has not been great for them this year. Would have expected much better from her. I’ll be interested to see how Grace Berg fits in once she’s eligible.Drake kept their composure almost the entire game but buckled in the final seconds of regulation. Hittner missed a critical free throw and then the killer was Monahan's turnover on the inbounds play with 2 seconds to play, which gave South Dakota the possession that allowed them to take it to overtime.
Kierra Collier (the Washington transfer) was great for Drake with 24 points, but had some critical turnovers as well. Rhine was her usual reliable self with 21 points on 10-14 shooting. Hittner's had a nightmare game.
Looking ahead to Sunday?Rice just had a clunker that makes UConn's offense tonight look smoothly oiled.
E. Ogwumike and N. Mulkey combined for 32 points on 11 of 29 shooting.
The rest of Rice's players combined for 11 points on 3 of 29 shooting.
Swin's cousin Johnasia Cash had a nightmare shooting game, 1 of 17, but she did have 14 rebounds.
I tend to agree with your assessment of the Arizona - Texas game. While this will be the first test for the Wildcats I'm not sure how anyone on the Longhorn squad is going to slow McDonald down. Moreover we're going to see how good Arizona's defense really is in this contest on the road.Tuesday, Nov. 12

Missouri at Green Bay (2p, ESPN+). Tough road game for Mizzou.

Sunday, Nov. 17
FGCU at Princeton (1p ET, ESPN+). Intriguing matchup (unfortunately at the same time as UConn-Temple).

#5 Texas A&M at Rice (3p, ESPN+). Most anticipated nonconference game for Rice ever?
#19 Arizona State at Minnesota (4p, BTN)
Gonzaga at #3 Stanford (8p, free live stream). Rematch of last year's upset at Spokane.
