"Other" games of note, Week 2 (Nov. 12-18)

Tonight was the second time in three regular season games so far where every Stanford player who was suited up played at least 10 minutes, and the second time where every suited played but one scored. I'm not sure I can ever remember seeing this much depth in a WCBB team. Lacie Hull was the one suited player not to score two games ago - tonight, she goes for 19 on 8 of 11. Such a fun season ahead...

Stanford’s a good team!!! Baylor’s 3 game this season, every player that has played has scored in each of the 3 games!

Final Texas 84-UTSA 53. Charlie Collier had 28 points and12 rebounds. Joyner Holmes also had another double double. Need Sug Sutton to get back to pre-injury form. Saw glimpses of potential from freshman Aussie guard Isabel Palmer.

That is impressive. 8 O boards.

Can we have a moratorium on "depth" .:oops:

Looks like I need to renew my ESPN+ .... all these exciting matchups.

Mine auto renewed just this morning...one more year @$53.16 (price, to the penny same as 1 month YouTube TV subscription price)

And Ole Miss just lost at home to New Orleans.

New Orleans is god awful. Jesus Ole Miss must have taken it to the next level.

And for the record no one is claiming the SEC is that great right now. You have some solid teams at the top (A&M, Miss St, SC) but the bottom teams are definitely some of the worst teams in all of basketball unfortunately.

Ole Miss scored only two points in the first quarter, 2..... against UNO

Luckily Ole Miss seems to have a great recruiting class coming in for next year. Current roster is JUCO level right now.

I might have to go watch the 1Q on replay  ... while I try not to think about how UConn struggled to maintain separation from Vanderbilt

Let me know if it tops this

I don't think Vandy is very good this year but their young players with Fasoula has some potential to maybe scare some teams this year. I don't know if White will survive though.

I watched this game. I almost died laughing

I don't think Vandy will finish last in the SEC. I think they'll win several games and finish somewhere in the vicinity of 9th to 11th. May or may not be enough to save White's job.

Didn't Notre Dame score only 3 points in the 2nd quarter against Mississippi State in the Championship game?

Still can't believe the refs robbed us of a game where we allow 3 points in a quarter. Gotta be the first time a team has lost giving up 3 or less in a Quarter.

Princeton trails Seton Hall by 3 at the half. Live stream: Women's Basketball vs. Princeton

Bella Alarie is not playing. Apparently she suffered some kind of collision during the last game. Hope she gets better soon.

End of 1
Mississippi State 34
Murray's State 7

Jessica Carter with 12 and 10.

I'd like to know how many teams are not playing cupcakes right now.

Let not all lie to ourselves. We would eat the cupcake....

Every program schedules cupcakes obviously. I would love to see Vic schedule more high quality games. They have been a consistent top 10 program the last few years, would expect a little more from them.

You should come on down and head over for some MSU ice cream and world famous Edam cheese. Dairy Science Rocks!

Does every AG school have Ice Cream for sale? NC State here has an ice cream brand... called Howling Cow. Harris Teeter is/has teamed up with them to distribute the ice cream state wide.

VPI is in a dogfight with in-state foe Liberty.... 62-58 in the 4th

Starting from Nov 30th, I think our schedule will be among the better ones in the country. 8 potential top 25 opponents. We just need to get through the first 8 snoozers and just let our young players stretch their legs a bit. It's a logical strategy; just nobody likes it when a top team plays cupcakes.

Haha "potential top 25" -- now we're getting desperate. And let's not confuse "not quite as embarrassing" with "among the better ones in the country."

Six opponents that are currently in the top 25 -- two of them are #25 USF and #23 Arkansas.
