OT- Yankees Stadium

So I'm watching the Yankee game and Andruw Jones just hit a blast and it banged right off of a huge Syracue banner in left field. The banner reads Syracuse New York's college team. My question is why is there such great advertising for Syracuse at Yankee Stadium and nothing from UConn?

Yes I do think people give a about a Syracuse banner at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees are the most decorated and watched team in baseball and having a giant Syracuse banner is some great advertising for their school and is also pretty awesome for Syracuse fans to see, I know I would love to see a huge UConn banner at the ballpark and my guess is most other boneyarders would as well.

Hell, that double that Mike Olt rang down the line is a heck of a lot better UConn advertisement than any Syracese banner.
BTW, doesn't Rutgers consider themselves NYC's team??

Olt dropping that easy flyball which wound up costing them a run wasn't great advertising. New position for Olt, I'm not trying to give him a hard time I think he'll be a great big leaguer.

I wonder if Cuse is trying to have a presence in the north east after they move the program south of the Mason Dixon line. The Big East should go out of its way to make that as difficult as possible, including informing our bowl partner that advertising other leagues teams is out of bounds. The banner can stay ...for the time being.

Olt's MLB future is at third. With Beltre there I doubt Mike's future is with Texas. My guess is he'll be part of a trade in the off season.
