When were you in 'bury? Class of '95 here.

Stowe has so much snow right now. Thinking about heading up this weekend.
89.....
spent two years skiing at Smugs almost everday.
Stowe is just an awesome place anytime of year, except mud season. but even then id take it.

After sifting through many of these posts, I've come to the conclusion, as a nearly 44 year old man on a UConn board, I'm not the only one 40+! This was the main reason I never joined til recently. I thought I was too old.... LOL

Plenty of us 40+ guys around the Yard. Got married in Miami, after we lost to Miami earlier in the day, Feb 1999. Little did I know the Great fortune we would have 40 days later. Our first title!

My uncle was Super Intendent of Cheshire public shools. At nearly 86 years old, it's a become a family issue! I don't want to talk about it, but he's suffering from Alzheimer's in recent years. He's been a great uncle & great man to family.

Convenient. I need a place to stay. Where can I pick up the keys? Thanks.

Well, not to be that guy, but you can rent it. If you ever have the desire, message me. A rental agency handles it for us and it is really popular due to the kick ass job we did building and decorating it.

Love that place. Bar is beautiful, greta pool tables, but mostly we go for dinner downstairs. It has pretty much eliminated any desire to drive in to Boston for a nice dinner. For game watching, I go to BBC in Franklin (and for family dinners etc.). Actually has the best pizza in the area...buy one get one free on Tuesdays.
BBC is good stuff too, there's one on rte1 in walpole. I'm never seen a game there, had the unfortunate luck of going for beers on karaoke night once.

I think that most people feel that way about wherever they are, assuming it is somewhere different from where they grew up. I've amended the lyrics of Neil Diamond's "I Am I Said" to say: "....Colchester's fine, but it ain't home....East Hartford's home, but it ain't mine no more...."

Ha! I prefer free, but I may do that at some point. Just not this season.

I happened to be in Franklin last night meeting up with friends, my buddy's wife was heading to Ichigo Ichie. They were raving about the place.

It's pretty good. It's a nice addition to the local restaurant scene. Planning to take my wife and daughter there soon.
