I feel like you wildly misunderstand how security cameras are monitored in the real world. This is not a Vegas casino. No college has thousands of cameras being actively monitored real time by a huge security team to spot any potential threat and then respond to it. They are there as deterrents and to try to identify what happened after the fact. And after all this, I’m pretty sure I read that the shooter pretty much walked directly off campus after the shooting and his car was not parked on campus, where Brown’s number of cameras or monitoring has absolutely no bearingBut if they were monitored real time as part of a campus wide security initiative then there would be one MIT professor alive
