I was delighted to get a call from Olde Coach last night [Warren Witherell].

He has just acquired computer access.
Coach says that he is making 'measurable progress'. It is uncertain when he will be headed home.
It sounds like it won't be days....but won't be months either. In addition to being a world class ski coach he has been an athlete all his life and I suspect that is of great benefit in his rehab. I sense he is attacking those programs as Mel Thomas attacked a loose ball....with much vigor. He was poking around a bit on the Boneyard yesterday for the first time in a long time. I hope he will be adding his usual wisdom as the days go on. Warren's voice was strong and...to no surprise...he was asking about how the kids are doing and is greatly looking forward to the season.
