I had to go with the MTV video version - it was an outstanding example of the genre.

True. Have had a soft spot for Golden Earring for years, primarily due to watching them completely mop the floor with The Who during the ill-fated Quadrophenia tour stop at MSG back in '74.

I'd have gone with Stevie Ray Vaughan on that tune, but knew you'd Elmore James;)

I almost posted Stevie so the youngsters would understand it, but that would be like stepping up to the line and shooting under handed. Yeah, I know it's supposed to be good, but it ain't me, and it don't feel natural.

Then I was going to compromise with Gary BB Coleman's version. But it always sounds 'over produced' to me.
