I sold my GME at the bell for a tidy profit and thought "I'll just buy tomorrow around 10 am when it dips again."I sold out afterhours last night when it popped from 4.80 to 6.60. fml
Yes. Absolutely but not bc of a Reddit group. Since 2000 the market and economy is controlled by The FedFor the first time in the past 5+/- years I am concerned about the next 12 months in the stock market. Even after the March 2020 COVID drop I was confident that the market would spring back. I am fearing a prolonged downward/ sideward spiral is developing.
My question is whether anyone else reading this post is feeling apprehension about the stock market, and if so, what you are doing to defend your positions.
Thanks.

I don't know about that, never bought the 'perfect information' theory of stock pricing, but I do think the market mostly determines and facts right now are tons of capital 'looking' & stock market is the best place to find good yield.Yes. Hedge fund guys bought shorts, basically betting on GameStop to go bankrupt and they'd be able to buy the stock for pennies. Instead people on Reddit started buying the stocks driving the price up so the hedge funds would be forced to buy at much higher costs than they hopedCan someone with knowledge of how this all works, explain to me like I'm 5, what is going on with Gamestop?
