Different positions.Wayne Gretzky scored more points than anyone in the history of the sport without ever scoring a single goal.
Its an un-toppable stat. In all of sports!

So, any predictions for tonight? I’ll say 3-2 Bruins.
I predict Bruins fans will crying about the refs.
We'll see if my prediction comes true. This is weak trolling even for you.
4-1 B's. First line actually shows up tonight. So, any predictions for tonight? I’ll say 3-2 Bruins.
I don't think I would consider putting a baseball player in the conversation of best athlete of all time. Just as I wouldn't consider a golfer or race car driver.Gretzky and babe Ruth are so far ahead of their peers that it’s ridiculous. Easily the 2 best athletes of all time.
There shouldn’t even be a conversation for either one really.

No but speed, strength, and leaping ability are paramount to most people when it comes to athleticism. If we're gonna get strict about these things, then the only folks who'd likely qualify are Olympic decathletes.

Every one of those Olympic decathletes would play basketball if they could.
I meant nobody would be doing the decathlon if they could make 12 million per year playing basketball instead.Meh. If I'm on a team with James Harden (or going back in time, AI), I don't think I'd be having much fun. I want to shoot too...
fwiw, I was tall and fairly athletic. Not an Olympic decathlete. But I never liked actually playing basketball. Too easy to score points.
We can argue about athleticism between sports, but I think there's no argument that the most taxing announcing job in sports in play-by-play guy in hockey.
Mike Emerick is amazing!
How annoying is it to fans of other teams that Marchand is so good?

Emerick is a Pirates fan and pretty much every year he stops in the booth to do an inning of baseball. Must be like a beach vacation for him.
Close enough lol4-1 B's. First line actually shows up tonight.
