OT: St. John's coaching search

Let’s hope they don’t start showing interest in Kimani Young. It’s becoming a real possibility.

Does Cluess even take it now if they offer? It's gotta be kind of embarrassing at this point.

That said, $2m per does a lot to assuage any shame.

Probably the one about Mike Boynton not being interested. Braziller corrected himself and then deleted the tweet.
Strangely enough, Braziller’s latter double negative tweet update appears to suggest he reconfirmed Boynton’s lack of interest in the red stain.

Honestly, they might not even be able to afford (or willing to pay for) his buyout, which is around $2M to $2.5M.

I listened to the interview while I was driving home from work and I was locked in for every second of it. I found it interesting, and that guy Mike Repole is intense. You can tell he cares about the school.

He's a jackass.

Friends, I have seen some stuff. I think we all have.

But St. John's being turned down by an America East coach. Via his AD. On Twitter.

My god.

I'm already sad that they'll eventually hire a coach. Why must this show end? It's so good.

Way better than Cincinatti. who wouldn’t want to coach in the Big East? From the sound of it, pretty much everybody...I mean when the coach at UNBC turns you down what can you say? I heard they might call the coach at St Joseph’s... the high school in Trumbull, Not the college in West Hartford.

At this point Im seriously not sure Hurley would've taken it. Can't wait for the Mark Jackson dumpster fire.

The Hurley thing is just so much noise. And whether he would have even been a big enough name is questionable. He had gotten URI to an NIT at that point. That’s it. That after the fact someone says they wanted him and he would have taken the job is pretty lame.

Dan wouldn’t have taken it at that point because he wasn’t done with what he wanted to do at URI. There were people in decision-making positions at St. John’s that wanted him.

Oh damn James Jones leaving Yale would be a bummer. St John's could do worse than him.
I think Mike Anderson would be a good choice too. Arkansas isn’t an easy school to coach basketball at IMO, but he consistently produced solid teams even if they weren’t spectacular. Good offensive minded coach.
