Reminded me of this.

The fight reminded me of the Karate Kid movie when Mr. Miyagi says if defense not good... (you are in trouble.) She couldn't get to the stuff she's good at because she couldn't stop Nunes from punching her in the head. After the Nunes 2nd or 3rd punch her leg is out in front of her and vulnerable to sweep or a single leg take down, but by then Rousey was incapable of rational thought so it didn't matter.
