Or the Tom Brady that divorced his wife while she was pregnant with his kid? Solid human beings there, for sure.

Not that this matters, but Brady's had one wife. His current one. And Bridget Moynihan announced she was pregnant a couple months after they split up, and Brady was there for the birth. Not that it really matters, fans love their soap operas.

If Brett Favre had said what Sherman had said last night people would be talking about his competitive fire and the chip on his shoulder that drives him to be great.

Somebody did an extended film session with Sherman earlier this year and I'd be shocked if he's not among the smartest guys in the NFL. And he's without question the best CB in football.

I enjoy watching Sherman play - he's a great talent. I am sure Bolden, Sherman and Crabtree talk so much they get mistaken for portapotties. I'd give Sherman a pass for one run-in/event. Unfortunately the sweet taste of victory wasn't enough. Do I prefer a post-game story about how an athlete let his actions do the talking? You bet.

this sh1ts pretty simple, he isn't a thug ; just classless. Knowing how to win/lose with class is the standard. trashtalk between the lines is one thing, prancing around disparaging your opponent postgame in front of cameras is an other (not really talking about the calculated interview). when does this ever happen in sports? best corner in the game is an asshat.

[To those who would call me a thug or worse because I show passion on a football field—don’t judge a person’s character by what they do between the lines. Judge a man by what he does off the field, what he does for his community, what he does for his family.]
[It was loud, it was in the moment, and it was just a small part of the person I am. I don’t want to be a villain, because I’m not a villainous person.]
If people cared to look they would see the other side of him. Great dude!! I'm a Seahawk fan so I hear and know a lot about what he does. He talks a lot of trash on the field. That is what he uses to get fired up and probably would not be the same player without it. A lot of the team is late round picks, Sherman included, and non drafted free agents who have a chip on their should and use as motivation and fuel. After his career he will most likely end up on tv prob on fox.

Cocky is fine. I just hated the ass slap at the end and calling him out by name in the interview.

Didn't Harbaugh do pretty much the same thing to Jim Schwartz a couple years ago?

What does Sherman being intelligent have to do with it? He acted like an and showed poor sportsmanship by taunting a player and taking attention away from his and his teams play on the field. He has since apologized aka admitted he was wrong.

Problem is, he talks a ton of trash off the field, too. No issue with his interview, but the guy is over the top arrogant.

In this thread: 53 year old white guys from Connecticut sensibilities being tweaked.

Sherman is a , but I'd much rather see that fire and smack than the same answers we here every. single. game.

Thank God I'm 54…...

Probably the first time anyone ever felt bad for Erin Andrews...
Nah.

I feel bad for her every time I see her on TV, so much so that I want to console and hug her each and every time.

Hopefully you don't feel the need to write to the Hartford courant complaining that you feel marginalized on the Boneyard lol!

No all good here……i pretty much try on occasion to tell it like it is here anyway…….and I have once or twice over the years!! LOL

Probably the first time anyone ever felt bad for Erin Andrews...

I felt awful when that guy was peeking at her in her hotel…………it was awful………..

………that I couldn't find a clearer video of the event!

If he told me "helluva a game"immediately after dashing my Super Bowl dreams, and given their history, I would have punched him right in the frucken throat.
