Wow you had a late but winning entry into the most pathetic #humblebrag of the year 2015. Enjoy your March disappointment that I'm positive you will feel. While PC is getting good this year it takes more than being good to get what you want. ( see UConn 90, 94, 95, 96, 98, 06, 09 who were all better than PC this year and didn't win titles) it takes a lot of knocking to kick the door open. That is complete BS. For my part I simply responded to a back handed compliment about being a mid major and the attacks began to flow. The hate runs deep with this crowd. I'll be sure to only respond when we are in our correct spot beneath the Huskies because this crowd is just too thin skinned for anything else.

I think there are some PC fans that fall into that category. Not sure if @FriarJ is that guy though. Seems like he was just having some back and forth with matrim who was clearly giving him some (possibly good natured) ribbing. I'll let him defend himself, though.

Nobody's opinion is more or less valid than mine in regards to what programs to dislike. I kind of scratch my head, though, when I hear posters ITT calling them their least favorite college basketball program.

University of Miami (TheU) head coach Jim Larranaga comes in @ #25 in career pts at Providence College with 1258 career points. Billy Donovan another great coach finished @ #21. Two very good players who became great coaches.

Providence was 200/1 to win it all right before beating Butler at a Vegas casino. Some potential value there. The problem is I still can't see them making a Final4 run. Maybe I will regret not playing that? Just wasn't quite feeling it.

Nothing against you FJ but I have been following UConn MBB since the mid 60's and even back then, PC fans were jerks.

Dunn missing the better part of three games with a virus definitely contributes to that ranking, IMO. They also started off slow (only beat a bad Illinois team by one, struggled with NJIT).

From the Evansville game forward, when they've been at full strength, they've played at a top ten level.
