As if the fixed Battle of Atlantis tournament wasn't bad enough I gotta read this love letter to PC on the BY. Good grief what a week.
We lose two straight games and now Providence looks pretty.

Yep. Also, I thought they took first come first serve w him and Omar Calhoun. Didn't quite work out, but whatever. We got a NC in the interim.
You know I didn't even look at it knowing we did get a NC out of it but boy can we use his all around game right now

They looked good all year I seen 3 games already and they play physical aggressive hard and tough and have a lot of confidence. I hate to say it but we're not that good right now like I thought we be. Out post players need to be threats scoring the ball and stop fouling so much

Can't believe I'm going to admit this on here but after having read a plethora of Dunn articles this summer and recently as well I think it's pretty obvious to me that he chose PC because of the guarantee of playing time. Thank you Huskies for being good. I think we give them a game tonight btw. I'm here in California watching in person and this is the most physically and mentally tough Friar squad in many a year.

Its a good team. Very good. Enjoy it.

And enjoy the 2032 team too. They'll be as well.

They look good. I think you guys & Monmouth are the best bets to be this year's Cinderella team.

Have fun and good luck tonight,

Just beat a top ten Butler team @ Hinkle after being down 11 at halftime. Kris Dunn made Tyler Lewis look like a JV kid, damn.

They are a really good team. Bentil is easily one of the best power forwards in the country and Bullock is also really good. Going into the season they didn't know if any other guys would step up to help Dunn and they certainly have stepped up more than could be expected.

I watched the 2nd half and Butler couldn't hit the side of a barn. It seemed like all of Butler's looks were wide open so I don't know how much you can credit PC's defense. But they did seem to want it more and get the loose balls. Either way good win for my least favorite college basketball team in the country.

You can credit them a lot. They're one of those classic mid-majors that really buys into the coach's plan and sells out on both ends to make it work. That forces the opponents into out-of-rhythm, rushed shots - and defensively, that's a goldmine.

I can definitely seeing this PC team winning a game or two in the tournament. Another Sweet 16 run that'd keep the fanbase happy for a generation is probably due.

Maybe your players can watch the tape and see what it takes to win against a top team as a mid major. :)

Or we could watch the tape of our four national titles
That would work better, learn some toughness that those 4 squads all had.

You're the type of fan who gives your fanbase a bad name. Act like you've been there before. Oh that's right, you haven't.

You do realize I'm responding to a backhanded compliment right?

7pm New Years Eve....PC fan checking out what UCONN fans are thinking.
I'm 5 time zones behind you, I'm sitting at a pool, checking out thoughts different then mine. You on the other hand are on here at 7:00pm on New Years Eve to participate in a Husky circle jerk.

You're smarter than this, I think. Just STFU and go to sleep. Your team is really good but not nearly good enough to come to a champions board to talk crap. Need to get a lot more dine than a win over Butler, another overrated NBE team.

Happy New Year, FriarJ. Hummm, 5 time zones behind us!!! You are either in the state of Hawaii, or, more likely, the state of inebriation!!!
Congrats on your win over Butler. You guys should crack the top 10.
BTW, I'll take our win over Butler, a few years ago, over your win yesterday.

You came to a UConn board to fish for compliments. I've always been complimentary of Providence but you are just a clown. We're 4-0 in championship games the past 16 years, not even sure if you guys have won a single tournament game in that time frame, know your audience and know your place.

Wow you had a late but winning entry into the most pathetic #humblebrag of the year 2015. Enjoy your March disappointment that I'm positive you will feel. While PC is getting good this year it takes more than being good to get what you want. ( see UConn 90, 94, 95, 96, 98, 06, 09 who were all better than PC this year and didn't win titles) it takes a lot of knocking to kick the door open. Odds are severely against you winning the first time you have a contender. I look forward to laughing at you in March. You would make a good cuse fan btw.

The biggest circle jerk I've seen is reading the delusional wimps on your board fawn over Cooley and mentioning him as an NBA candidate. He's been a head coach for 11 years and has ZERO ncaa wins, so the good news for you is Ed has no better options. Enjoy this season while it lasts because with your crap recruiting this is it.
