Wow.

I don't get the desire to just crush athletes from some people. Fans and media alike.

I'm a Bengals fan. I'd be happy to trade places with a Pats fan, even now.

Ha apparently Brady "hasn't even sniffed [a super bowl ring] in seven years." How is playing in a super bowl, such as he did this year, not sniffing a ring? Doesn't sniffing it imply he got close to getting one? Brutal article overall.

that article is written by a butthurt fan who happens to work at the globe. horrible article. brady wasnt the sole reason that superbowl was lost. thats utterly idiotic.if grontkowski isnt hurt, if welker makes the catch or branch pulls down that catchable 3rd and 11 patriots likely win the game.

Super bowl record 16 completions in a row isn't what it used to be. "Hideous"? Really?

That's a Boston thing. Remember it was a Boston writer that didn't vote for Ted Williams in his top 10 for MVP the year Teddy Ballgame hit .406

Sorry, stupid post. To insinuate that the PAts lost b/c they didn;t have some kind of illegal inside information, i s complete lunacy. The Pats barely lost 2 Super Bowls, in the absolute last minutes of the game. Its arguable they were the better team in both of them but things just worked against them. Thats just the way the game is, the ball bounces (or moves) in mysterious ways sometime and its truly a game of inches (even less than that sometimes).

Spygate, was a bunch of BS to begin with anyways. But certainly, anything related to spygate had nothing to do with the PATS winning their 3 Titles or barely losing the last two SBs.

PERIOD- END OF STORY!

Brady was better than Eli, apart from the brain fart for a safety to open their possession. Yes, that cost them. But Eli had receivers who made great plays all game long. The Pats had 4-5 major drops on key plays. The other goat on offense was Mankins. Almost every time the Giants beat the Pats O-line, which wasn't often, it was Mankins that gave it up. Vollmer and Light were great, as was Waters.

Not enough risk taking on offense or defense for NE. So both teams played a shortened ball control game, which limited the Patriots possessions.

Eli had a better completion percentage, completed more passes, threw for more yards, didn't turn the ball over, didn't give the defense points and was the MVP. Please tell me the basis on why Brady was better than Eli.

He has the brain of a 4-year-old - no sense in arguing with him.

Also, to the person who said this article is a Boston thing: I'm pretty sure New York is about as bad.

dear Joyce;
Well I believe it had something to do with Brady's last drive ie desperation,, How many incompletes in the last 50 seconds. The Giants won and deserve all the credit in the world, your spygate BS just shows that 99% of Uconn Fans are intelligent, you belong in the other 1%

As a Giants fan I'm trying to be objective here and IMO Brady played a good game. Yes he should have thrown the ball out to the siidelines with the safety but the game hinged on the fact that the Patriots don't have deep wideouts like the Giants, and of course Gronk. The Patriots held off the Giant rush quite well most of the game. Brady had stats similar to Eli but as one Giant receiver said about that last drive, "he's as cool as the other side of the pillow". Losing players to injuries is part of the deal as the Giant secondary knows so you go with what you got. Not crazy about cutting a guy the day before the superbowl, seems pretty rotten. Giselle throwing an F bomb after the game about the receivers (they should love that).

EDIT:
Or 99% of UConn basketball fans on this message board who think its ok to cheat.

Too soon?

Brady was not better than Eli. Silly.

The Pats being 0-2 in Super Bowls since Spy-Gate has nothing to do with anything. Also Silly.
