Eh, let them have fun. Gameday was being held there, so they were going crazy all day long. And the game itself came down to the wire and was fun overall.

On a completely opposite end of the spectrum, when KState knocked off the #1 team at home, nobody stormed the court and the team ran up to the stands to be with some of the students.

K State has had some issues with storming the court. Basically, they weren't allowed to in today's game because security staff outnumbers the fans. So, the players took it into their own hands.

I remember thinking why?! It wasn't like we weren't ranked our selves,or already won two Championships.

Undergrads don't think about court storming in terms of basketball legacy or how it'll make the program look. They're young, probably at least a little drunk and its a ton of fun.

Besides the fact that some of the conferences fine schools now (usually only like 25k which some booster will cover) there's no harm so let them do their thing

Storm the court after every fricken win. Life needs more joy. How on earth could someone be offended by a bunch of silly kids expressing joy about winning? People complaining about court storming has always really rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. Relax.

Texas had lost earlier in the week too, so they were only still ranked 1st because the new rankings hadn't come out yet.

It's a problem waiting to happen. Sooner or later a couple of the losing players aren't going to smile and say congrats when a drunken fan gets in his face. I wouldn't blame him one bit.

My first game of significant memory as far as high profile college hoops game. A great comeback in which I can remember almost every significant shot down the stretch and the players. I was a big fan of UConn and that Notre Dame team growing up at the time. Younger Enberg, Hot Hundley, Wooden, Walton, Wilkes, Dantley - history 101 for sure.

By the way I know Wooden was a great coach but let's be real honest, NOT in this one. There was no shot clock, how do you let your team lose this one in the last 3 minutes without going to the foul line?
