OT: NCAA softball playoffs start today

Whoa! Texas A&M already took Game 1 and was up 5-1 in Game 2. I thought Texas was dead in the water. Not so fast! Horns up 6-5 in the 6th inning now.

14 inning Tennessee game that was painful at times. Tennessee had bases loaded and a 3/1 count in the 14th and couldn't get it done.

Texas storming ahead against A&M. Looks like they'll play tomorrow. Huge 6th inning after they looked dead in the water.

Lots of teams staving off elimination today. Gonna have plenty of Game 3's tomorrow.

Funny how “dead in the water” is a phrase. Suggesting that it’s worse that dead not in the water.

I, bring a simpleton, kinda focus on the dead aspect as being determinant, regardless of location.

I am not paying too much attention to the series that were still in progress today, mainly because the most of the teams that I would prefer to win today, haven't. I check out the scores but haven't watched the actual games.

Texas wins 9-8 in 9 innings.

Arizona in all kinds of trouble, Oklahoma St. looking to finish off the Super Regional.

Is Okie St-Arizona delayed? The score I'm seeing has been stuck in the 5th inning for a long time. Stanford-LSU started much later and has caught up.

I really have a hard time watching the Baylor catcher return the ball to her pitcher. She always walks onto the infield in front of the plate and lobs the ball back. In a game that the NCAA is trying to speed up, via the new Action clock, how is her "stalling" allowed pitch after pitch? I understand that her pitchers release the ball in time but she is still intentionally stalling the game, IMO. :)

I missed a lot of games over the past few days. Looking forward to watching some games today, weather holds up.

Duke walking into OKC like

giphy.gif

Whew.... seasonal allergies are bad today in Greensboro....

What a ride Duke is on. Coach Young is the best coach at Duke without question... hired to start the program in 2015.... first season played was 2018..... been knocking at the door of the CWS the past few seasons...... now the Blue Devils are headed to OKC.

Bama came back from 0-1 in their series to upset #3 seeded Tennessee in Knoxville.

I guess Duke earned some respect this weekend. The ACC Regular Season AND Tournament Champions playing the regional at the 5th place team in the SEC

Par for the course. Big 10 champs don't even get seeded or get to host Regionals most years. But as long as 8 SEC teams host Regionals everybody should be happy, right?

Never tire of seeing LVs lose. #3 Tenn lose 2 in a row at home to Bama.

Bottom half of wcws is 2 Okla-14 Bama and 6 Ucla-10 Duke
Not sure what you are stating, but Duke will be playing the Sooners and UCLA will be playing Bama.

Wow! The Vols lose 2 in a row to Bama? Dang.

When the seedings were announced, I couldn't believe that BOTH Duke and FSU were double digit seeds.
