Beyond that there were around 10ish truly good defenders among all the playoff teams. Iggy Noah Gasol Allen Ibaka Batum Howard Leonard Lebron...and that's pretty much it. 9 guys between 16 teams, oh the defense!

Since 2000 there have been exactly 3 times where one of those 3 players didn't win the title. Yeah, illogical, so much parity. Compare that to the NFL/MLB/NHL and let me know what you think.

Actually, more than that, when's the last time a team seeded lower than like 3-4 even made a finals trip? The entire first round is usually irrelevant save for like the 3/6 and 4/5 series in the west.

Why don't you enlighten me. So much parity in the NBA yet the same 3 guys have won most of the last 15 year's worth of titles. Imagine if Brady had like 4, but then Peyton and Brees had like 3 each too.

I don't hate the product, there's just things that need to be cleaned up, which I mentioned earlier. Lack of parity can't be fixed, so no point in really arguing about it.
