I don't know, jmho, I actually liked them. I think part of it had to do with the aesthetic effects of the students also wearing the same color throughout the entire lower bowl. (Side note: I really want that kind of seating at Gampel. Even on just one baseline would be awesome)

I didn't like them as much as I liked the whole theme, students and all involved. Great idea for Game of the Week.

Also while I love passion I thought Costello got a little out of hand, only to the point of embarrassment to the other team. But he did fire them up and the hug and swing of Izzo was hilarious. Last thing while I like the kids all around game and respect it, how the hell does Valentine even get mentioned in the same breath as Hield and Simmons? Not close sorry.
