marquez is an aggressive counter puncher who has fought manny 4 times and knows him very well and anyone with half a brain cell sees this guy is the worst possible matchup for pac. yes even more so than floyd.
Putting aside he came up to fight floyd from 135 and floyd didnt make the weight limit marquez got dominated because floyd is a counter puncher like marquez and would not be the aggressor and it forced marquez to fight a fight thats not his fight. he wanted an exciting fight and it played into floyds hands.

Despite everything, I still want to see a Marquez-Pac fight without a tinge of steroids rumours. It's good for boxing. Marquez turned down (and Bradley, too, turned down) the Pacquiao 13-mil offer of a 5th fight - an upgrade over the 6 mil Mar got from the 4th fight. That's strange since Pac always accepted a fight offer from Marquez. Afraid to fight Pac without steroids, maybe? Which he had used in the 3rd and 4th fights? Come on, you all know that.

Manny P doesn't have Floyd's handspeed and he sure as hell doesn't have his defense - there's a better than average chance that MP is a shot fighter after what happened to him last time out. Fighters tend not to come all the way back from that sort of demolition.

I suspect Manny and Marquez will fight again for big dollars after both guys put a quick payday in their pockets.

As for Floyd, I think he takes a scrub in September and then fights Alvarez.

Your out of your mind manny has the fastest hands in the the division and imho behind only Gary Russell jr,Gamboa and Khan for fastest hands in the sport. so i respectfully disagree. Russell is unhumanly fast. if you dont know who he is check him out.

Really? Whose the best counter puncher in the world? Not Marquez. The guy who took him to school. JMM doesn't have anywhere close to the defense or hand speed Mayweather has.
