OT: Jeff Adrien causing some trouble

Beat me to it Kit. and Jim Calhoun there you go. Jeff is a husky forever and we are all pulling hard for him to have a good outcome and get whatever he needs. True warrior.

God I loved Adrien at UConn. Talk about Blaud's swagger comment. Adrien gave us off the scale toughness. I really hope and pray, that he gets the help he needs.

Hope he has a strong support system around him. His actions scream of someone who might have a mental illness. Just getting checked out could be the best thing for him so if there is something going on they can get it under control

If this is in response to me his tweet has no bearing or change of my opinion. I have family members and friends who suffer from mental illness and they all deny they do anything wrong or don't perceive what they did as what actually happened.

3 separate incidents of bizarre behavior in short period of time when mental illnesses usually start to show in the mid to late 20s

Noticed a month or so ago that he set up a second Twitter account and was tweeting back and forth to himself from his main account. Didn't think much of it other than that it was kind of strange. Hope he's ok.

Sometimes I write a comment and then read it over before hitting Post Reply, and end up deleting it. Other people should do that more.
 
Maybe that synthetic marijuana junk? I always see people in the news losing their minds on that stuff. Either way, hope he gets help ASAP.

Alright, that's pretty weird sh_t. I could see Kanye or Gilby Arenas doing this, but not the JA I know.

OK? Who's fooling who? I have no skin in this game, I don't really care what happens to Adrien. As far as I see, you have a TMZ report that he got arrested, and a tweet from him that he didn't.

Given that the TMZ article didn't link to anything or name any sources, call me crazy for not instantly believing anything published by TMZ. Not that I am convinced it's untrue, but I am okay in saying I don't know, and you know, not speculating that he's a schizophrenic or his life is in shambles from my keyboard in Connecticut.
 
Tmz has proven to be pretty reliable. Also why wouldn't you take 3 separate police reports that have no affiliation as being somewhat or more reliable than Adrian
 
Seems like it's some type of psychosis (like schizophrenia) or drugs. Almost hope it is drugs. Easier to fix.

Come on JC, reach out. He needs serious help that he probably won't want to accept.

My guess is it's not being reported anywhere else in the media because Adrien isn't in the NBA and outside of college basketball fans nobody knows who he is. I would certainly take TMZ's word of an arrest over Adrien's Twitter account, TMZ has zero reason to make up these arrests Jeff has every reason to try and deny it. There is obviously something going on with him right now and it's not good.

He wasn't my favorite guy we ever had, but I'd not go as far as to say I don't care what happens to him, even without the trip to the final four.
