OT- Jabarie Hinds transferrign from WVU

Not that this really pertains to UConn, but this kid is basically the reason we have Boatright.

Gotta feel for this kid since he is from NY, signed on to play in the Big East and ended up in the Big 12. Wonder if WVU bball will ever do anything in the Big 12.

I don't know what's going on at wvu, I always thought huggins was a good coach, but now I'm beginning to doubt. I would have thought wvu would have done well with big 12 bball, they have struggled in football as well. It's been a bad transition for the mounties.

He was the PG WV signed after they signed Boatright, which lead Boatright to decommit from WV. Are we going to sign him too? LOL

I don't think West Virginia will ever be a huge factor nationally - at least not until the Big 12 gets some sort of presence on the east coast. The players Huggins relied on getting will be a hard to get now that he's pitching games at Ames, Iowa and Manhattan, Kansas instead of the northeastern schools.

His current roster is a mess - he's got a lot of short guards who can't throw the ball in the ocean. Too many miserable shooters in that back court. The team was bad for most of the year, but just fell off a table when they lost seven straight to end the year.

Hinds never really panned out. He looked liked he might have a future last year, but his stats are way down across the board this year - not surprised that he's leading a bunch of players out the door at WV.
