I would change the loss to George Mason to a win and go to the Final Four.

I think if we win the title in 2006, JC would have built a dynasty.

Agree 100%. Whether we won the title or not, we were always going to lose our 7 best players to graduation or the draft after that season. So Calhoun still would have needed to bring in a huge freshman class to start the 2007 season. And the group that he brought in was a 1 seed and in the Final Four three years later.

The correct UConn answer is the 1990 regional final. The correct Non-commercial answer is UCLA's sweet 16 game in 1995.

The first would have added a FF 9 years earlier than history clearing the FF monkey for 94-98. The second would likely resulted in title #1 which would have made '99 title #2 and potentially saved us from all this CR mess.

Second most disappointing team in UConn history IMO. No weaknesses and even less chemistry and killer instinct. Loved D. Brown though.
