I've honestly never scene a bigger no-show than this. Hartford and CT are total jokes.
I am wondering if this is how your day starts

How were home game crowds for UNC when they were down for those 2 years? Or UCLA for their few down years? Just curious.
Honestly what more is there to do at Mohegan as opposed to Hartford? There are more restaurants and bars in Hartford then in Mohegan. You can walk to all of them or Uber to WH Center if you want. If you wanna go anywhere outside Mohegan you'd likely need a car or pay a hefty fee for transportation. What would you do at Mohegan after you go to a few restaurants? This is even more true for folks who don't gamble. The casino is fun for a night out but not a place I'd pay a lot of money to fly to and stay at.This whole mess we're in is BS beyond our control.
And the poor teams and fans tied to it.
Sorry Houston fans, you now have to find something to do until your Monday morning flight leaves.
PM me and you can come to my house on Saturday for Irish festivities food, drink, and good CT peeps.
I definitely understand the woman's draw at Mohegan. Things to do and see.
Yes, I think there were more than 3k there tonight.
Most of the teams in the AAC can't get a crowd to their home games let alone have them travel. Doesn't matter the venue. CT makes sense on the gamble that UConn will play most days. But Mohegan would be the better option.
Hookers and coke? You can have a lot of fun in Hartford if you're willing to do unconventional things.
For the curious...UNC has been ranging 18-19 thousand average game...dropped to just below 18,000 in 2010 (their worst attendance year...
Does UNC Have a Basketball Attendance Problem?
Looking for fun in Chapel Hill? Either go to the game or pick tobacco, dinner is Waffle House.
Get real, it's Gooberland. Mayberry meets Deliverance.Franklin Street is 5,000x better than anything in Storrs.
The whole upper bowl was vacant and virtually every seat in the lower not between the court endlines. How many people do you think that could be?
I said 3-4k, it's maybe 5k.
I saw the loser Mayor (Bronin) on TV Friday AM and he was talking about 50k people coming in for the AAC tourney.
Did anyone see a few minutes of the ECU-SMU game? I doubt there were more than 200 people in the whole place. It was hugely embarrassing. They literally were playing in an empty gym.

Compared to what, Springfield or Worcester?Hartford is a truly terrible city but this isn't the city's fault. This conference makes absolutely no geographical sense so to expect good crowds is naive. Not a fair critique/
Thanks for a truly stupid post.I've honestly never scene a bigger no-show than this. Hartford and CT are total jokes.

I think it is Yard Goats. What a disaster that has been so far with the stadium. I hope they do well with the investment but many do not.Hey, Hartford isn't so bad. Once the RockGoats start playing that will be good. Small city downtowns have a tough time especially when it's 12 degrees out.

Who will travel into Hartford go watch bad minor league baseball affiliated with a team 2,000 miles away.
Only winners are police & spiking OT for the non-event event and busway drivers driving empty buses.
I will and have been planning to do so for over a year...
Just curious JSM. If you like, what town do you live in?It will look like the 4th quarter of a game @ The Rent by June

Enjoy history.Such as?
I will go to Hartford to watch baseball, hockey and basketball. And I happen to love cops and firemen, especially firemen. (I'm married to one). What do you do for a living, JSM??
