The Maras have such a mis-earned stature in league history. Rozelle literally forced Mara to hire George Young in 1979 because they were such a clown show. Think about that- the COMMISSIONER had to force a team to make their front office competent.

Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The Giants aren't the Knicks, but they ain't far off. Clueless. Stuck in 1955 forever. They'll never learn.

while the George Young hire righted the ship after 15 years of poor football, the Maras had done well before then - NFL championships in 1927, 1934, 1938, 1956 and lost NFL championship games in 1933, 1935, 1939, 1941, 1944, 1946, 1958, 1959, 1961, 1962, 1963
