Why would Frank Haith take Tulsa? As one source just told me, "He's one bad year away from being fired."

Haith was implicated in the Miami blunder correct? Maybe he skirted the guillotine but caught some cross-hairs in the process. Could be a Coach Cal skip town before the piano drops on your head scenario. Yes, that's 3 mixed metaphors.

This isn't rocket science.

Haith is a bad coach. Bad coaches who get good jobs are eventually revealed as bad coaches - they'll then start stepping down the ladder one step ahead of being fired.

With any luck, they'll have a good year and then jump back up before starting the step down.

This reminds me of Tuberville leaving Texas Tech for Cincinnati. The only difference is there won't be a bunch of west Texas meth addicts flooding Tulsa message boards....
