OT: Favorite toys while growing up....

My brother & I had a pair of these the 3 yrs we live in Quebec when we were in grammer school. We beat the snot out of those things all winter long which were way longer than the summers

This topic reminded me about the Raleigh Choppers. I never had one but others in the neighborhood did. Do you remember these?

From the same maker as All-Star Baseball, this game had springed levers to send a ping long ball toward the basket.

We had one of these games. The problem was that the ball would go too far at times and leave the arena. It would have been better if there was a clear bubble over the game.

It got to where from the far distance I developed a bank shot that I thought of as like Sam Jones of the Celtics.

My favorite aunt worked in the HASBRO factory in Pawtucket, RI her entire adult life. So I was swimming in GI Joe stuff. But I was more into cars, bikes, models, Estes rockets and stuff.

You guys are so...….oo young. For me, growing up in the 50's, it was the Hula Hoop. Took the country by storm, followed by Silly Putty and the Frisbee (the history of which began in Bridgeport).
