OT: Favored Alternate Arrangements of Songs

Forgot about this one. Actually there are tons of them on Post Modern Jukebox

Sweet Child 0' Mine - Guns-n-Roses

Miche Braden

Here's another version of Sweet Child o' Mine. It's quite faithful to the original, but it's cool to see it done (very well) by kids 10-15 years old playing at a well-known venue in a foreign country.

The original is pretty much unlistenable for me, this is much, much better. (It's not that I hate Britney, but that song in particular I think is just awful)

I have a feeling I would prefer alternative versions to quite a few of Dylan's songs. With permission the Old 97s added new lyrics but kept the tune of Desolation Row.

I didn't even realize this was a Dylan song when I first heard this version. Many have covered it. IMO this one tops them all by a landslide.

We're watching the DVD of Elton John's 60th birthday show at MSG. This one sticks out for me.

I love this version.

Speaking of Miley, I like her version of Sweet Jane (from Lou Reed/Velvet Underground)

Robert Palmer's cover of Todd Rundgren's Can't We Still Be Friends
