No line at Bristol Valero which is on the way to my gym. Valero's regular price beat both Costco and Sam's by the way. Never against saving a buck or two.

Watch how as the winter progresses home heating oil starts to skyrocket regardless of the price per gallon of crude oil.

The US increasing production is smart on a lot of levels. The industry jobs ease unemployment. Cheap fuel and power boost's the economy. Abundent cheap oil means less OPEC power. Don't want to hijack the thread though.

Gas in east hampton down to $3.31. It still a bit more down on the shore but the Hess on Rt. 12 in Ledyard is $3.35/$3.42. I used to get gas at Sam's all the time, but I don't work over there anymore.

It's funny I am so out of the loop on gas and I shouldn't be. I am fortunate enough to have a company pay for my car and gas so when people ask I really don't know. But last week my boss and I were driving to PA for a golf outing and I suddenly noticed a sign off 87 or 287 in Jersey which stated 2.99 a gallon and said "hey the prices are going down again" - to which my boss said WTF have you been? I should always be looking for the best deal for my company but when I need gas I need gas LOL.........I just ry to stay away from the rest stops ON the major highways which I know slam you.

In WesMass I believe I saw 3.09-3.19 most recently..........

Mau...

All the way to PA for a company golf outing. Must be nice. ;)

I still don't get why the price of gas can vary by 50 cent a gallon within 10 miles in the same state. It must be taxes.
