Any one watch the Celtics game tonight?? Further proof that a team that plays as a team is better than a group of inflated ego "superstars"....

Made this guy pretty happy even though my ankle is elevated because I rolled it at basketball practice.... oh well, Go Celtics! :D

I would love a Celtics-Thunder final. I've always hated the Cs, but there'd be a number of cool storylines, not the least of which would be that, if the Thunder won, they would have beaten the last five NBA champions (Spurs 2007, Cs 2008, Lakers 2009 and 2010, Mavs 2011) in this year's playoffs.

Additionally, Durant is easily my favorite NBA player. Former Texas guy, humble, devoted to basketball, great teammate, and always supports women's basketball.

If that series happens, I might have to go to a game at the TD Garden.

Sounds like Ray Allen - except for the Texas part. But Ray is a Husky and one of UConn's biggest fans in all sports.

And they'll both be in the HoF eventually!

KD's a bit less OCD than I've heard Ray is, but I've always thought that they have a lot in common.

I also think Breanna Stewart is the female incarnation of KD. She says she looks up to him, and she's definitely someone whose game and work ethic after which she would want to model hers.

The Celtics with Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Rajon Rondo playing against a Bosh-less Heat is the better team in any case. The Celtics, without doubt, have better coaching. It is a credit to the Heat that they have gotten this far. I would not count them out yet

The Heart, the Soul, the Spirit, the Team attitude...that's what the Celtics are all about. The Heat have big egos, can't seem to work as a unit, whine at every call against them, & have no idea how to work together. I really hope that Boston can close the series out tomorrow night at the Gah-den. Would LOVE to see Ray get another ring before he retires...

Isn't it amazing how the Celtics played a horrible unwatchable series with the 76ers and do a 180 degree against the Heat. Sure hope they win game 6.

Both the East and West Finals are exciting. As far as the teams go it looks like its 1. Thunder. 2. Spurs. 3. Celtics and 4. Heat. I don't think the Celtics have a real chance against the Thunder or the Spurs for that matter but it's impossible not to be impressed by the will power and team play of the Celtics. Rondo is an AMAZING pg and his passes are a pure joy to watch!

How about the Thunder tonight? Man, if KD can get his first ring at age 24, we could be talking about an historic career.

Durant is so likable that I tend to forget how badly Seattle got screwed by the NBA. And I thought I'd never forget that.

Watching Kevin Durant, a relative old timer, such as myself, cannot help but marvel as to how much the game has changed. Here is a guy who, at 6-9, handles the ball flawlessly and shoots threes. That was unheard of 40 years ago. It was sacrilege for a big man to shoot anything but short post up jumpers and layups; Never mind handling the ball. More and more it is also being revealed that four years of college basketball is an unnecessary prerequisite to professional basketball success.

I agree- the Euro players introduced the concept of taller inside-outside players, but Durant has perfected that style of play. I see him along the lines of Elgin Baylor, Dr J, or Magic- a player who breaks the mold and will leave a lasting impression on how the game is played.

Tough night for the Cs tonight...LBJ played perhaps the best game
Of his career and Pierce and Garnett played well below par...at least they still have one chance to beat the Heat
