Oxycontin + Xanax. Sweet dreams.
Why does everyone make this so complicated?

I found that CBD oil didn't help by itself. I picked up some THC/CBD 1:1 mix after my physical therapist (shoulder pain) told me you need some THC to be effective so when I add that plus the CD oil (salves, not ingested) I do get pain relief. He also told me I wouldn't pass a drug test even though I wasn't ingesting it.I study CBD for treatment of OA, lots of cool research out there showing how it helps with pain. There's evidence that CBD is effective up to certain doses, and then it loses it's efficacy for pain treatment, but that can be overcome by adding in small amounts of THC.
Yeah when I read that my immediate response was: respiratory arrest? But the dreams are sweet for a few minutes I guess...Because they also want to wake up?

Had the same experience. Dose is the key i think.I’ve used CBD oil for the past four months. I’ve purchased it from an official CBD store, The Vitamin Shop and a gas station. It was surprised that it works at calming and relaxing me. It also helps me sleep. I’m currently using the droplets I bought at The Vitamin Shop. I recommend it for all restless, aggravated adults.
I am getting old. My body hurts in a lot of places. Particularly my elbow lately and I like to play golf a lot. I used to be pretty good but the pain is making playing even decent tough and thus less enjoyable. On top of it I sleep like crap most nights. Alcohol used to help with sleep but not anymore. I am wondering if CBD does as it claims. Better sleep and pain relief. Is this what I need or a waste of money? Because it’s not exactly cheap.
Before It’s asked I have only smoked the “real” stuff a few times in my life with limited affects, probably because there was a lot of pre drinking involved.
I leave it to my friends here to impart their wisdom.
CBD, marijuana, and anything that a pharma company produces should be the LAST resort. Work on physical therapy, meditation, and changing your diet and habits. There is no "magic pill." Forget giving these profit-oriented companies your money. We can do this without them.
We should grab a beer sometime. I respect your opinions but you have no clue what you're talking about. You're putting out Tom Cruise vibes.
I was in big pharma sales for a long time and have posted here in the past that I made my money launching Viagra and Lexapro and left the industry in the dark of night while selling OxyContin for local Purdue Pharma because I knew that drug was being misused.
There are hundreds of legitimate "magic pills" keeping tens of millions of people alive at this very moment.
And no one in 2020 trusts anyone who says "marijuana" should be a "LAST" resort.
You gotta loosen things up a little my man. Maybe take the stick out of your arse, undo the belt and rebrand to XXXLCenterfan?
I was a big CBD skeptic for a while, but I've since seen the light. Bought a chocolate bar of 100mg THC and 100mg CBD cominbined at the "world's largest dispensary" in Las vegas. Said chocolate bar was divided into 10 sections. (half of a piece/section was the recomended serving =5mg). Me being me, I decided three pieces (30mg) was an appropriate amount to ingest. After hibernating for 9 hours I confidently placed my feet on the floor and my legs promptly buckled. I was sold! Edibles made with indica cannabis and high levels of CBD are extremly effective at mitigating aches, pain and swelling.@THC where you at homie?
Agreed...I messaged you looking to grab a beer. Hit me up dude.Agreed.
Ill meet you anytime for a beer. Name the place and the time. It’s cool that you have your opinion and I have mine, but don’t tell me I don’t have clue. I have many clues. And don’t tell me to pull the stick outta my arse. You come across as a friend and an enemy at the same time. Pick one.
All good dude. You said “we should grab a beer sometime.” I took you up on it. You backing off of the offer? I come in peace.XL, just because I PM'd you positive words a few days ago when you were catching heat in a different thread, doesn't make us friends. That just means I'm a decent dude and wanted to reach to give you a boost when the whole site was coming down on you.
And me telling you to pull the stick out of yourself in this thread doesn't make us enemies. That just means I'm going to keep it real and rescind that boost when I see fit.
Board...DM...who cares where I post it?We're all good. But you've been posting to the board while thinking you're PM'ng me. You sure you're not smoking something? Name the place, I'm a man of my word.
Dude, I’d smoke the real thing but my youngsters are now teenagers and I can no longer answer “daddy what’s that smell?!?!?“ with “ oh , that’s just one of mommies aroma therapy candles and sage”. Teenagers = CSI.he's now 82, and still going strong, so there's that. Tommy Chong. not a complete endorsement for him and every product in his range of expertise, since im not a fan of edibles for a variety of reasons, and, i definitely know that high thc is an artificial and sketchy new development, but all these years later, the man knows. get off the sauce as a crutch (though a bit on a regular basis is not a bad thing), do regular movement including exercise that works your sense of balance, don't overuse coffee, eat more produce, yogurt, (like most things, red meat is absolutely fine as part of a well rounded diet), reexamine any pharma's that you may be taking, with a critical eye, and remember -stress kills. the age of seniors and cannabis has begun. check back in a few years, and it will be obvious to everyone. 'kaneh bosem,' it's in the Bible.

I've been on pain management using opioids for over 10 years. I cannot tell you how helpful it is to use THC on top of it. I do agree with the fact people are lazy to take care of themselves and that is most definitely a huge problem. I wouldn't advocate THC but for some of us, it can be life or death.CBD, marijuana, and anything that a pharma company produces should be the LAST resort. Work on physical therapy, meditation, and changing your diet and habits. There is no "magic pill." Forget giving these profit-oriented companies your money. We can do this without them.
10 mgs is the way to go if you have been partaking for a while. 30 must have been quite a wallop.I was a big CBD skeptic for a while, but I've since seen the light. pounding down amphetamines? yeah, uh no. that makes aboot as much sense as that sprained ankle thread a while back where someone was rec'd grams per day of ibuprophen for a freakin sprained ankle. pro tip: have a chat with your liver and kidneys, and then with your heart. garuntee that they will have a different opinion.
we live simply in my family. to that end, in childhood, I was taught, thankfully, a simplistic way to think, ie, if the suffix '-ine' is attached to a component, whether naturally occurring or manmade, it will make you go 'up' as opposed to 'down.' so, nicotine, caffeine, cocaine, antihistamine, pseudoephedrine, and so on, whether a helpful product, or not, can be expected to have a stimulative 'up' effect. you are correct that antihistamine does not present in biochemical anaylsis as amphetamine. no argument there, yet as a way of holistic thinking, the analysis we live by is '-ine' as a catchall phrase for 'up'. it's how we roll, since biochemical anaylsis often does not describe predictive affect. It's an antihistamine not an amphetamine...
Did you seriously just type out a paragraph of that foolishness?
