Take her to the vet right away. I live in a cat world-- wife has family downstairs that she is rescuing. Our three upstairs-Fernando , Burnie (burned his paws after he escaped crate with his brothers and hid under furnace, and peanut a girl we saved-- are all great, loving cats. We also have a dog. If you love your cat, give them the best, within reason. I have had to put more than one down cause of illness and, like any other pet, it sucks!

In a zombie apocalypse, shelter cats are a good source of inexpensive protein.

And homemade slippers.

As an update, she's doing quite well tonight, I managed to stop the bleeding and she's back to repeatedly going up and down her staircase to the couch.

Is that a real picture of someone? Looks like something you would see at a Circus. Good lord that's terrifying...
