Report states Brady likely knew, in a general way, that air was missing. Neither Coach B or Pats management knew anything in all likelihood.

Bob Kraft: “What is not highlighted in the text of the report is that three of the Colts’ four footballs measured by at least one official were under the required psi level."

With 11 Patriots balls measured, this was the PSI according to referee Prioleau:

11.8, 11.2, 11.5, 11, 11.45, 11.95, 12.30, 11.55, 11.35, 11.35, 10.9

So, none of the balls were below 2 PSI under the threshold, as Chris Mortensen claimed. Only 1 was below 1.5 PSI of the threshold. 6 were within 1 PSI of the threshold.

3 of the 4 Colts balls tested were under 12.5. None of the other Colts balls were tested.

I read this doozy on page 7 of the report: the equipment guys measured the balls the refs gave them after inspection at 16 PSI. LOL!!!!

This means the refs don't care either.

The equipment guys were laughing that Brady would have to get used to throwing a watermelon, and that it wasn't going to be good for his passer rating.

Well, they said the Patriots had nothing to do with the deflated kicking balls. Then how did the kicking balls deflate?

Let's just throw out all of Blakeman's PSI numbers. Anything that fits your argument is ok, but lower numbers aren't. Got it.

I'm going to temporarily block ZooCougar and Storrsbred just so I don't have to look at these threads.

Blakeman's PSI numbers are lower on patriots balls and higher than the other ref's measurements on Colts balls.

Care to explain?

I can think of one explanation. Go on hating.

How do you figure the first part? Did Physics take a break that day?

As for the two different measurements by the refs, that is easily explainable. One of them didn't have to be doing something fishy. Look at the measurements again. If one ref is measuring one set of balls while the other is measuring the other set, then the second measurer of either set is going to get lower readings. Why? Because every time you measure, air comes out of the ball.

The guy was a gameday employee. Handles the footballs 8 times a year. A part-timer making 10 bucks an hour.
In other words the perfect scapegoat.

I wonder if investigators found anything out about upstater in their investigations, it's frightening how much of a Brady stalker he is.

I explained it to you.

They are lower and higher because each of them were doing the alternate set of balls. And every time you put the gauge in to measure, you let air out. This means the second person testing the balls is always going to get a lower measurement.

Here's something else.

The Wells Report states that the Ideal Gas Law, based on Temps, would have the balls drop to 11.32 PSI from 12.5 PSI over the first half.

Only 3 of the 11 Patriots balls measured fell below that. AND, one of those balls was measured 2 times on the field.

WASHINGTON—After an NFL investigation revealed that 11 of New England’s 12 game balls were under-inflated during last weekend’s AFC Championship Game, Americans across the nation announced Wednesday that they would love—absolutely love—to hear the excuses from Patriots fans this time. “No, no, by all means, go ahead,” said every single person living outside of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, and Connecticut before reportedly smiling and adding, “I’m all ears.”

“Wait, let me guess: The deflated footballs were also easier to catch for the Colts defense, so the Patriots didn’t have a real advantage, right? Or is it that the score was so lopsided that it didn’t matter in the end? No, seriously, I’m sure you guys have something really great cooked up for this one.” The American populace went on to say that they also absolutely cannot wait to hear how this new scandal will have no effect on the legacy of Tom Brady.
