ESPN blows for sure, but i think everyone would agree the 30 for 30 documentaries are very well done. I've seen a few of them. Bo Knows was good. Saw the Jimmy The Greek doc...what others are good?

You Don't Know Bo is and always will be my favorite because of my love for Bo Jackson and his superhuman exploits, but other favorites include The Fab Five, This Is What They Want, The Bad Boys, The Two Escobars, Free Spirits, The U, and The U part 2.

That's a solid list. All are great there. Not all 30 for 30s are great. Some suck,

Oh, good call on Brian and The Boz. I loved that one.

Catching Hell was really good, but I wouldn't call it a 'favorite' just because it's so unpleasant.

Understand what you mean, but I just saw Catching Hell last week, so it's still fresh in my mind - felt compelled to list it.

Am I the only one that liked the Laettner one? I loved how Bobby Hurley pretty evidently still can't stand the guy.

I also enjoyed that one.

For hockey fans, "Of Miracles and Men" - that was great. This is the perspective from the Russian team.

That was a great one.

Nothing was as much fun at The U.

Bo Jackson was fascinating...

Benjo Wilson was really good and The Boz I enjoyed too. Most are pretty decent.

Favorite is The Two Escobars. Crazy story. Sole Man is also good and shows the beginning of the influence sneaker companies had on college hoops recruiting.

Apparently, I've seen more than i realized. Russian hockey thing was really great. Saw parts of the U. That was cool too. I think i need to watch Sole Man next. Seems applicable to our favorite sport.

Of Miracles and Men is the absolute best in my opinion. Just amazing. After that The Two Escobars, Once Brothers, Bo Jackson, The Best There Never Was (Marcus Dupree), Pony Express come to mind. Most of pretty damn good. Like the other Yankee fan, I have never seen Four Days in October and never will.
