When Tom Jackson got hired in 1983I thought I saw this somewhere, but didn't Belichick apply to be UCONN's head coach way back in the 70's or 80's?
This debate is so overdoneBrady won a SB without Bill. Bill can't say the same. It was always Tom.

Anyone know his buyout?
Buyout (Coach Terminates Without Cause)
• Termination prior to June 1, 2025: $10 million
• Termination on or after June 1, 2025: $1 million
• Buyout amount shall be payable to the University within 180 days of the date of termination
I didn't read it that way in the least. I consider it to be, in essence, Belichick's demands. To take job. Essentially, it is a list of non-negotiables and getting preapproval of how he intends to run the program.Going off the report that Bill has a "400 page bible" it seems like he's just going to be the figurehead and CEO of the operation and his son (+ other assistants will do most of the recruiting/coaching). I think this could work assuming the necessary money is there for his coaches, NIL, recruiting, etc.

No idea what this means?I didn't realize that Matt Cassels was that good
Look at the records for belichek w non Brady qbs and return to the comment about bill not being any goodNo idea what this means?
Didn't say he was not any good. Brady went and won one with Bruce Arians who went promptly out of the league. Bill never won the Big one without Tom. Those are what you call indisputable facts.Look at the records for belichek w non Brady qbs and return to the comment about bill not being any good
Belechick took the Browns to the playoffs and won a game. Something they hadn't been able to do for what, 30 years after thet fired him. He lost the the goodwill of the city, not for losing, but for benching a washed up Bernie Kosar.
