OT 2026 NFL playoffs

Does anyone find it a bit fishy that Christian Gonzalez is cleared through concussion protocols, yet Nico Collins is out.
Are you brain dead? Gonzalez was never hurt at all. It was excessive caution to even put him the protocol. He wasn’t concussed. Collins couldn’t get off the field on his own.

It's all scripted for the Pats, Nico Collins standing there not playing and their TE walks off the field while Christian Gonzalez plays and it looks like Stroud is in on it.
Scripted for the Pats when the entire ESPN panel picks Houston to win? Nobody has been able to run the ball on the Patriots when Williams and Spillane were healthy. That forces you to throw and while the pass rush is meh, the secondary is very good. A great QB with good receivers and especially tight ends can beat them, Texans aren’t that. Nor are the Broncos with Stidham. Any of the NFC teams would probably be favored. Bears might be a pick ‘em.

The starting qb for the NFC will have a torn ACL walking to the first presser on Super Bowl week, Darnold will probably be seeing ghosts in San Fran and sit out the Super Bowl it’s all scripted.

Ya coaches are always 100 percent honest with the media regarding injury reports, it’s the playoffs. You’re still wrong about that play being a reception last night btw. Was obviously joking a bit about it being scripted for the Pats.

The Seahawks are the best team. Have been the best team for months even though the media seems to be entirely blind to it. The only hope the NFL has for the kind of offense they want to see is the winner of this Rams Bears game. Despite stacking the deck against defenses year after year, it’s still what wins. If it was scripted, the Rams would be the only team still playing of those left, maybe Chicago. Nobody was more pissed that New England won than Roger Goodell. He hates them, and we hate him.

If you watched it, he was never hurt. The spotter sent him to the tent, no idea why. He was practicing on Wednesday because he never had a concussion.

Like I said a couple minutes ago, Williams is never out of it.

Oh, Swift had to feel that ground contact. Ouch.

I like all three NFC QBs for different reasons (Rams/Bears isn't over yet). But I think Caleb would be the most difficult matchup for the Pats. Just seems he's never out of the game regardless how crappy he played the first 50 minutes. One of the best improvisers at his age I can recall.

Holy crap Caleb Williams, was backpedaling all the way near midfield, under duress. I really don’t get the thinking there on 3rd and 10 for the Rams with 2:07 let your mvp qb clinch it, an incompletion brings it to the 2 minute warning anyways in all likelihood so clock stops anyways under 2 minute I would get running it and I swear I’m not saying this in hindsight. Well OT it is.

I always hate those pitch plays, Mckvay has to be kicking himself now for a coach who likes to be agressive isnt agressive to clinch the game, and , now it’s sudden death, Bears should have it now.

Rams move on to get clobbered in Seattle. Hell of a comeback by the Bears. Great foundation there with Williams and Johnson.

Stroud is awful let’s be honest. Since his rookie year, which looks to be a fluke, he’s proven to be ok at best. Then add no Collins or Schultz he was screwed and so was their great defense. No Nix next week, I mean the red carpet was thrown out for the Pats but they’re good. 2 weeks in a row great game plans defensively to make both QBs uncomfortable. Don’t like Vrabel but he’s a helluva coach, they have a shot.

Looks like Josh Allen’s poor performance contributed to firing of Sean McDermott which was just announced.

We are a pulled oblique away from a potential Drew Lock vs Jared Stidham super bowl

So here's a question for the gamblers on this forum. These were all preseason bets.

My $5 bet that the Pats would reach the AFC Championship game paid $95
My $10 bet that they will win the Super Bowl pays $760 but I can cash it out now for $190
My $10 bet that they Patriots will lose in the AFC championship game pays $210. Can't cash out.

Seems the smart play is to let the Super Bowl bet ride for now. I get the $210 if they lose this week. If they win, the cash out number will go up significantly (I assume) even though they'd be underdogs against either NFC team.

Stroud had that terrible pick 6 INT where he just threw the ball up for grabs. Another one was high and could be in the category of receiver contribute interception. And two were behind his receivers. The bad weather contributed to some of those INTs. Drake didn’t have great day either but Stroud probably cost himself a lot of money with that performance.

In my opinion, you didn’t put up much money and stand to make a huge payout if they win the Super Bowl. They’re your favorite team. No fun in a cash out for a couple hundred bucks. That’s a week of groceries. Enjoy the run.

If they make the Super Bowl hedge your bet to cover what you put up initially and it’s a no lose.

Bill fire McDermott. Interesting move.

On one hand, you’re what? 7-8 years into Josh Allen and haven’t made a Super Bowl with the best qb in the league.

On the other hand, there have been 10 coaches fired Harbaugh is already resigned and Tomlin isn’t coaching next year. Who are you replacing him with? Mike McCarthy? Mike McDaniel?

They better have a pretty solid plan in place because Josh Allen cannot absorb the hits and not get hurt at some point and his prime is half over.

That is why I wasn't sure they'd dump him. There's no clear upgrade I can see. Chris Shula is definitely going to be on some teams' list, the Dolphins should absolutely go there. But the retreads all suck. McDaniels is much worse than McDermott. McCarthy stinks.

Stefanski is off the board. Flores is probably the top guy with HC experience left. The Bills could just promote their own guy Joe Brady.

Yeah, it's all house money obviously. I hit on both the UConn championships at pre-season odds. So everything in my accounts is house money to begin with. Sadly the odds on UConn sucked this year so if they pull it off it doesn't pay much.

Not only is Bo Nix out for the broncos, but I would also expect their receivers Pat Bryant and Troy Franklin to be out. Also, the broncos center left the Bills game injured.

Broncos went from one of the healthiest teams in the playoffs to complete disaster in just 4 quarters plus OT.

The defense is healthy at least, but I don’t know they will score unless Stidham channels his inner Nick Foles.

As a broncos fan, I have very low expectations for Sunday’s game.

Brutal for Seattle. Fortunately they have Walker, he'll just need a lot of snaps.

It's looking like the Patriots may be Super Bowl champs without ever even having to play anyone.

I'm used to Ben Johnson always going for it on 4th down instead of taking the points but his playcalling last night was ridiculously bad and worse than I've seen it all season.

Really good first season for him but I would not at all be surprised if he's Matt Nagy 2.0
