Three or four calls a day, for the past several months. Nobody there, and nothing when I call the number.

A google search mentions Charter.

Any useful suggestions on how to report those behind this BS?

Any useful ideas how to make it stop?

If you have an iPhone, when iOS 7 is released next week, it includes a feature to block callers.

Find out where D/F/H lives.

Or...it's a Washington area code...maybe it's Pal.....

Or....found a site where many people complained of the same thing. One guy called Charter and they helped him block the number.
The number belongs to Peerless Network, District of Columbia BC. I called Charter and they helped me to block the caller. - See more at: http://www.callercenter.com/202-800-5566.html#sthash.NnRo0kqB.dpuf

My iPhone is three years old. That feature by itself would justify buying a newer model.

Thanks, but I am not sure how charter could help, unless it is actually them calling. My phone is with AT&T.

It's me.

I'm just trying to find out if you're interested in the fine selection of magazines, life insurance and Girl Scout cookies I'm offering.

I won't call again...what time should I stop by?

One of my brothers kept getting 225-5555 with no area code. I looked it up and it's some sort of international scam artist. If you see this number on your phone, hang up immediately and block it if you can.

In regards to magazines, I'm now apparently subscribed to Ladies Home Journal since spring and Redbook over the summer. I'm a male who just as soon sleep in a tent as a house. I don't have the foggiest idea how I ended up being subscribed to these magazines. Was it you, Fishy?

It was Ben Gazzi calling from the White House.
Close, but not quite. This site says it's a Republican telemarketer.

This call is from a Republican telemarketer out of Washington D.C.
Began my charter service about a week ago. Immediately recieved these annoying phone calls on my new Charter number as well as my personal home telephone number. My personal number is private.
Contacted Charter who gave me the info saying this is not their number. I informed them that they are being hacked, and personal information is being given out to this political telemarketer.
Agent at Charter stated this is a Republican telemarketer.
