OK....Since the season officially, or semi-officially, starts tonight, I felt I needed to get one more OT post in, while it is still the "off-season".

Who are the 10 dumbest fan bases in America?

Well, this is one Top 10 list, which I am pleased to say, does not include UConn.....

I love the comments from the pissed off Alabama and KY fans . . . hours of quality reading there.

Kentucky fans are by far the dumbest. Try arguing with them about the recent success in the NBA of their players.

I have to say that ND fans aren't stupid, merely delusional. To their credit though, they take delusional to another level.

Years ago, I saw this sign when driving into Kentucky. What does it mean?

7/20/1998 - Business First (Kentucky) "We don't usually get too excited about slogans, but we'll make an exception for Kentucky's new "Education Pays" message that Gov. Paul Patton introduced this week. Despite the needed improvements made to Kentucky's education system this decade, there still are far too many citizens in the commonwealth who don't understand the necessity of a good education.
When introducing the state's new slogan, which Patton promised will be "plastered" all over Kentucky, the governor rightly noted that education offers a ticket out of poverty.
"A lack of appreciation of an adequate education is deeply ingrained in many of our people," Patton said. ". . . We must consistently educate our people that they must take advantage of our opportunities."
From creating a new system of public schools in 1990 to reforming higher education last year, state leaders have demonstrated they understand that a good education leads to a good job. Now it's time to get that message to all Kentuckians."
