Opening day (Tuesday, Nov. 5)

I sorta feel bad for the girls on New Hampshire. They knew they had ZERO shot to win this but damn that must be humiliating

LSU leads 21-10 after one quarter

We are 7-18 from the free throw line

Tennessee 40-30. Lou Brown leads with 11 points.

Mikayla Vaughn goes down with an injury. Down to 6 players for ND. It looked like it could have been bad

TN up 40-30 at half. ETSU could have been closer if they made a decent percentage of FT.s The number of 6" shots TN missed off of O boards is incredible.
Yes ETSU missed too many FTs. But TN is just too big for ETSU.

Jade Williams with 2 three pointers :eek::eek::eek::eek: Leaonna Odom with 2 three pointers :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

She's back in

And now back out but doesn't seem to be moving too badly. ND sure can't afford for her to be out long.

Fordham was shooting terribly but ND couldn't muster enough offense to pull away.

Fordham with a couple 3s early in the 4th and now it's a 4-point game.

Fordham hanging in ND 47 Fordham 43 8' 30 seconds left in Q4

VPI is beating the brakes offa St Francis..... Elizabeth Kitley.... freshman from my city has 27 pts on 13-15 shooting.

Ohio is up 19-4 on Syracuse

I’m kind of surprised by how easily Georgia Tech is beating Houston. The Fortner era off to a decent start.
Houston got off to a really good start in 1Q but then went ice cold in 2Q.

Excuse me, Ohio is WHAT?
Ohio is a pretty good team. Just missed the NCAAs last year, won several games in the WNIT, and they got most of their players back.

I gave serious thought about putting them in my top 25..... around 24 or 25.

Boston with a triple double with blocks here in her debut.

SC leads 92-34.

This is a very athletic and deep team that needs some work offensively.

In the battle of the North Carolina Methodists......... Duke defeats High Point 93-57 :)

ND 60 Fordham 55 final. ND used only 7 players in this game.

8 - 5 starters plus Cosgrove, Gilbert, and Cole. ESPN's box score doesn't list Cole, possibly because she didn't register any stats. But she played a few minutes in the first half.

8 is also the number of scholarship players they had available going into the game.

Looks like that number may be down to 7 for next game, though, after Vaughn's injury.

Cincinnati takes down Utah, 68-62. A significant win for a program on the rise.

AAC > Pac-12 :D
