Ever since we missed on Fox and had to settle for Emeka, I've stopped worrying about recruiting. I read some of the stuff but couldn't tell you who was high on our list or we wanted/needed since then (exception being Drummond). There's just no reason to get invested in kids who are 16, 17, 18 years old who may or may not wear a Husky uni. I start paying attention when the sing a LOI. But even then, I don't much care about their final year or how they do against other kids. Until they get to campus and get a few months of Calhoun, they are nothing but silly putty waiting to be molded to their best shape. I remember Wiggins putting up multiple 50+ point nights in the summer league. It doesn't translate to championship basketball. Lamb was an after thought who is now considered one of the two or three best shooting guards in basketball. Drummond came in with some weird rep that he took plays off or didn't want to play defense. Have you seen him taking plays off or not buying into playing defense?

It all doesn't mean dick until they get here, put on the uniform and either adapt or die in Calhouns system.

Anyone making any conclusions on one tourny game with months before he sets foot on campus is a moron. Get a different hobby rather than obsessing about teenage boys.

Calhoun didn't shoot well, but many of his misses were highly contested jump shots that he won't be taking next year. His team was getting destroyed and he tried to do too much. Big deal.

If you watched Oak Hill play on tv 2 years ago, you would have wondered if Roscoe Smith was even on the floor. If you saw Jeremy Lamb play in high school, you would have wondered if JC had lost his mind.

Count me in the camp that likes Calhoun's game.

He was okay. His team was way overmatched and the kid tried to do too much instead of hanging his head.

By the way, all he did on Saturday was score 34 points to help Christ the King beat Tony Parker's high school team in overtime.
