Olympics Basketball

Kerr is an international debacle waiting to happen. He got a pass with the World Cup team even tho he still had plenty of talent to medal, if he screws up the Olympics with the "real" roster he should be one cycle and outta here.
 
Kerr sucks. Keeps changing lineups and sub patterns suck. Edwards and Embiid really only look for themselves. LeBron was amazing and Steph is great. AD, Steph, LeBron, KD and Jrue should be the starters.
 
Doesn't seem like the players are taking these tune up games very seriously. We'll see if they can turn on the switch when the real games start.

Shouldn’t have to rely on Leold to carry you to the gold medal.
 
Worried about the US taking gold.

Watching that Redeem team doc those guys were locked in and Coach K was a great motivator with 10x the talent of this team. And it still took a heroic last stretch against Spain to win.

Between Kerr, the age of these guys who’ve hardly played together, and how much better the world is. Things may be shaky.

No shirt it’s not the 70s but it would be more enjoyable watching those kids try harder to beat them. Only issue these days is your best college players leave too early to grab the bag in the NBA so it’s not the same in that regard.
 
How about Jrue getting totally beat on that last possession? I thought he was supposed to be good at D?

It is primarily Kerr's fault. Its his job to prepare and motivate the team. IHe admitted the coaches did zero scouting. And people said this was the greatest team ever assembled. Could never be this generation of players. They make way too much money to care.

US plays them in the actual first round - no way they shoot like that again

Wouldn't be anything enjoyable about seeing college kids get blown out, if it was that obvious to you that it ain't the 70s then you would understand it wouldn't be close against these other countries senior national teams. Lol @ thinking college kids could compete with Jokic for Serbia, a Gobert/Wemby frontcourt France frontcourt, or dealing with Giannis and Greece. They would get toyed with.
