You guys rock with the recruiting knowledge. The way I look at it- Abu is prime target #1. as is Robinson, we aren't following Robinson with the same gusto because he isn't in the same big tournaments. We are also still big after Perkins and Mcglaughlin, we want to cover pg, sf and pf. Ollie and staff are all over this class, have full confidence we will bring in a haul.

3 great job, tcf all over it too...........love this !!

Now one of you close on a commit will ya!! LOL

I'm looking forward to these live periods being over so we can start getting kids on campus. I think August we'll get at least one 4 or 5 star commitment. Very possible Devin Robinson and 50/50 Josh Perkins

Are there any other ranked Centers we are after in 2014 other than Turner, Chukwu, and Okonoboh?

Malachi Richardson, who is visiting UConn soon:

“Coach [Kevin] Ollie is a great coach, he has a great staff. UConn is a great school, and he has been making all of those guys better,” Richardson said. “Shabazz Napier is really going, he has been getting a lot better. I always have liked Syracuse growing up as well as Arizona and Indiana also.”

Dorsey is a real talent.. many top talent talking about uconn

Seems like both Dorsey and Richardson are very high on UConn, my biggest concern is how much room we would have at the guard/wing spots come 2015 depending on if we sign a top ranked PG in this class. They might view things as too crowded.

Dorsey right now is at the top of my list for 2015. He's transitioning to the PG spot so that makes room for my second favorite player so far in 2015 SG Malachi Richardson.

Also I do believe Goodluck is a C.

"I would say this: He's had several head coaches out to see him play over the last two weeks, from Coach K to Thad Matta, Coach Crean, Coach Pitino, Coach Ollie, and Coach Rice from UNLV," Vin Pastore, Okonoboh's AAU coach, told Andrew Slater Wednesday night in Las Vegas. "There should be more on this list, but the ones who came out to watch him play are the serious contenders at this point. He's got a ton of other people that are contacting him, [but] hey are the schools that are most interested in him."
As Okonoboh begins to get serious about his future, Louisville, Indiana, Duke, Ohio State, UConn and UNLV appear the frontrunners.

A question, hopefully not too stupid of one. In the recent past (imposed restrictions aside) was our staff as busy as they seem to be now or do they just seem busier now because we are hourly updates on whom they are watching?

I don't really think it's much different. Pretty much every coach in the country is doing the same thing in July - attending as many games as possible of the players they really want.

If there's a difference this year, it's that we need a pretty big 2014 class so there are more players to track.

When coaches go to watch recruits are they allowed to pull a recruit over and chat with him at these events? Or is that a recruiting violation?
