2026 Recruiting: Olivia Vukosa

I may be totally off base, but I have always viewed the Big "O" as a lunch pail kind of player........I'd think UConn would be the perfect landing spot but if not, Texas, OSU or SC make the most sense.....
Totally agree and hope she picks UConn. H0ere's an article about Dawn Staley stating that SC is "Post Player U" - recent history with A'ja, Aliyah and Kamilla seems to support that.

Somehow, I think those three would have thrived at any number of schools other than South Carolina.........same goes for the Big "O" but I think the additional benefits of Geno's coaching is fully evident.....

Great to see Geno back out on the road looking for the next group of UConn stars........I wonder if this means Serah Williams was not actually on campus over the weekend?

Guessing not, Skim stated on her burner ball that we have two kids scheduled to visit this week. I’m pretty sure she’s one of them.

Also makes sense that kids are visiting UConn later since the team has been on a tour since winning the championship. Now things are calming down.

I am on Burner ball as well but did not see her mention this.

I read it was not over this past weekend but during this week

I don’t know about Serah, but I really want the Big O to choose Storrs. This is a much higher priority than a one year transfer. I want Olivia to have a chance to play with Sarah and Jana and Ice and KK and Ash, to learn from them what UConn intensity is really about, because they’ve lived it and experienced its true meaning in an NC run.

2 kids? Could it be Serah and a future recruit target? Or maybe Heckel?

From what some Skim tweets said, Serah is supposed to visit this week.

She’s def UConn’s to lose
That's what I have always thought but the recruiting environment has changed markedly in the past few years due to NIL and that has made these college decisions far more unpredictable.........that said I know she's perfect for UConn and would be very wise to head north to Storrs and Geno.....I'm sure other schools have been telling her that Geno may retire soon when in fact I don't see Geno leaving coaching any time soon if the Big "O" chooses UConn....:)

The Big O is special. When I hear opposing coaches knocking Geno and UConn in their pursuit of The Big O I have to laugh. Geno's development of players like Kara Rebecca Tina Kiah Stewie Steph Dorka and now incoming Serah only shows that these great players want to be developed, made better, want to win and are willing to make the commitment to do that while playing for the most decorated coach in WCBB. Genos goals of winning national championships is second to none. He is a legend that other coaches seek advice and try to duplicate what he does. To do that takes time. To do that takes drive motivation and a winning attitude. Having a chance to play for the best with the best and to become the player that is recognized is a privilege that many dream. While you look at UConns roster and their accomplishments there are only comparisons and wishes. To do what Geno has done at UConn and to be able to maintain and exceed it for over 25 years, well there is no comparison. Those who choose UConn will be looked up to and those who dont will be looking up at UConn.

Tony: you shoulda sent this directly to Kayleigh. Where is that girl?

Texas, South Carolina, Kentucky, North Carolina, LSU, Ohio State, and UConn. I think she likes the South! :p
Maybe but there is only one UConn and 12 times National Champions

Over the past few years, the Big "O" has gotten herself into much better shape and honed her offensive skills to become a legit three-level scorer........she's the kind of post player that Geno hasn't had in quite some time......it's the Big "O" or bust!
