I enjoy the repeat viewing of Ms. Vukosa and her FIBA performance.
This U17 World Cup Highlight video is a WONDERFUL reminder of the
versatility of the "BIG O", Olivia Vukosa. In this video you can see the
game in which she scored 21 points and an INCREDABLE 23 rebounds.
She is a force on the boards, makes her 3-point shots, and (in one
sequence) comes out of nowhere to make the "points in the paint"
i.e. she runs the floor very well! Maybe Lara S. saw this highlight
reel and could see that the present and FUTURE competition at UCONN would
be very, very challenging! Go Olivia! Go UCONN! This is a highlight to
save and review when you need a reminder of the quality in the UCONN
future POI.

Olivia Vukosa (class of 2026) plays with Lena Bilic (class of 2025) on the
Croatian National Team. I just noticed that Ms. Bilic, a small forward, has
signed on with UCLA WBB for next year. With the chemistry that does exist between
Lena and Olivia does anyone on the BONEYARD feel this could be an influence on Olivia
decision next year? My thought is "NO". But they do play VERY well
together. GO OLIVIA, COME TO STORRS!

I really like Bilic's game......a very aggressive slasher.......no idea if it will matter but it certainly doesn't help......

Just for an idea of their "chemistry": The Fiba webpage lists Lena Bilic at 6'3"/190 cm , born May
2, 2007. She has played with Olivia for at least two years on the Croatian "Youth Team" with
Lena averaging 15.5 ppg over a three-year FIBA playing experience. Her 'entry passes' to
Olivia are Excellent. So, maybe we'll have Nika Muhl, Hana Muhl, Olivia, and Lena to look forward to
watching in some future FIBA or Olympic play? I think "Charlieball" is correct, Lena is a great pick up
for UCLA, just as IMHO OLIVIA will be a TREMENDOUS addition to the Croatian history at
Storrs!

Nike NY vs NY Girls Championship

The competition took place between August 10 and 12 in Victory Park, under the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. Also attached is the final match featuring Olivia Vukosa lining up for Team Dickman and the YouTube channel where I found the video, a must-see for all women's basketball fans.

Nice, I love the updates on OLIVIA that I have not seen before (even if they are from the summer).
Looks like she has the UCONN enthusiasm! Go OLIVIA!

I'm a bit discouraged by the Big O's lengthy list of schools.........it's always been my belief that she was a big UConn lean and that it was just a matter of time before she signed with Geno without having to go through the usual multi-school recruiting process.........regardless, I'm still hopeful that she'll make the right choice and become part of the UConn family in the end......
Don't be too discouraged. In the NIL era it's a technique for building her brand. She will now have fans of 16 schools following her. I'm surprised it wasn't 20 schools

Interesting........I never considered that strategy.........I guess I'm stuck in the past........

Any significance here?

I'm not sure about any clear "significance", but Oliva Vukosa will
will be a game changer wherever she decides to go! Like Sarah,
Olivia will have a minimal learning curve, IMHO. Maybe it is
in the Croatian Heritage!! GO NIKA, Go Hana, Go Olivia!

Olivia said USC is a “dream team”!?!? Scroll over one to the video

It’s a wrap we lost her ….. y’all are too much most of the time

I am intrigued by the "Big O." She has a unique skill set in all offensive and defensive areas, plus has been playing a very competitive schedule. Would be immediately ready to join in the championship hunt. UConn would be one of the few teams that could help her develop further. Besides coaching advantages, joining the UConn alumni of Bigs and pro players, Stewie, Paige, Lobo, etc. would be a unique advantage to her career.

Let us not forget the "CROATIAN" National Team connections:
future teammate with Nika and Hana Muhl (Manhattan College WBB).
Nika and Olivia will be "on the same 'PAIGE' " !!! ( so to speak ).

So, I just watched/listened to the posted video.... Not
as bad as I was anticipating. The Trojans may have some
"dreamy" players, however, with KK, Sarah, Ash, ICE,
Jana, Q, Yanna, Morgan, Allie, and our H.S. class of 2025:
that is, IMHO, a future dream combination.
