UCONN 24, Navy 23.

UConn plays too conservative on offense. But I believe in our defense to keep it a close game. 13-10 UConn

They were "this close" from winning against Mizzuo. I think O comes out smokin' in this one and D does their usual shutdown on Navy. AND! we should have a sold out stadium. Finally, a two TD-plus victory over the midshipmen. 34-14 UConn.

24-17 UCONN win. Newsome with statement game, 2 TDs one on the ground one through the air. Maybe should change that to 23-17, can we go another week with a blocked XP?

You had me fooled until you had us making all our extra points.
Then I knew you were just toying with us.
As a lawyer, I'd imagine you would be better with semantics. He never said we would make all our extra points, just that we wouldn't miss any. I think it's pretty clear that he thinks we're going for 2 every time. 3 TDs, 2 successful 2 pt conversions, and a safety.

The last time UConn won a football game, I had predicted an outlandish result against a branch of the military. Therefore...

UConn 74 - Navy 3

I think UConn goes for over 30 points this game. 31-17 UConn. all cylinders are rolling for the huskies right now- and being at home helps

For the Navy game.....38 -21 UConn...however, at halftime, a UFO lands at the 50 yard lines and an alien announces he will be joining UConn for the 2017 season. That will be the news in national papers - not the game.... :-)

I actually think this is a very important game for many reasons. First and foremost to show that last week wasn't a fluke like UCF last year. It is also important because last week generated some buzz after 4 years of blah so it is important to keep it going. Finally if we have a realistic chance to bowl we need to get some wins in the bank. No way do I want to have to beat Houston and/or Temple for win #6. With all that said I think this is a tough game and the Middies are just better right now and we cannot put up points. Plus our kickers aren't reliable. Navy 21-UConn 19.

24-20 UConn. Navy leads most of the game, big 4th gives the Huskies the W.

The Huskies D has kept everyone under 20 points so far but if Army could score 17 I'd bet Navy is good for at least 7 more. Navy's D won't be as good as Mizzou's but how many times will UConn shoot themselves in the foot this week? Between the offense and special teams UConn will screw up big time and it will cost them 7. But.... UConn's D is getting better every week and I believe once again they'll have the Huskies in a position to win it on the last drive of the day. Sherriffs proves that indeed there is a new gunslinger in town and Diaco stays out of the way as either Thomas or one of the big TE's plucks one out of the air in the endzone for the win. Huskies 26 - Navy 24(would be 27 but no need to kick the XP with no time on clock).

Army was two plays away from scoring 3.

We will need a LOT more offense to win this game than we have seen so far, not to mention vastly improved special teams play. IF we can score in the high 20s we may have a chance. I don't think the O will be able to score that much yet, but with the help of a fumble return by the D we get to 27 and win. But then again maybe we absolutely trounce them. Or maybe they kick the bejesus out of us all afternoon in front of the UConn faithful. I sure hope that doesn't happen. The recent BY optimism has been refreshing.
