UConn needs to beat a team with a winning record. Period. Otherwise season end rankings may be below 100.
UConn can be an exciting team, but not at the level of a Cincy or Memphis team. It has some skill at most positions except the O-line and Special teams. Because of that, they will score points, but not that much.
The best think that can be said about the players and coaches at this point is, despite last weeks disappointment, they have the confidence of a winner, as opposed to last four years there was probably a mindset of "we can't".
I'm cautiously optimistic......but also nervous. It will be a very tough game......but so was Missouri....on the road....before a hostile crowd.
The coaches and team are trying to kick it up a notch.......now its time for fans to do their part......BIG TIME!
